Today is a Masterpiece!

MAKE EACH DAY A MASTERPIECE !!!If you make each day a masterpiece, then by week’s end, you’ll have a great week!You all receive 86,400 seconds per day, how you chose to spend those seconds is up to you. Treat them as a gift, rare and irreplacable .... don’t kill time! Some people think that time is money, when in reality “time is life.” When you kill time, you kill life, you kill yourself moment by moment... !Life is precious. Time is irreplaceable. You don’t have minute to lose. So make each day your Masterpiece.One of the greatest problems with people today is they are always looking forward to something. They never try to do something today. They are always looking forward to the next day off, the next vacation, the next end in view. They never stop and enjoy the day that’s already here.This has created a mindset, an attitude of only looking to the future for happiness and joy. Thus, robbing many of the joy of the present moment.In C. S. Lewis’, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, “always seeking what was taken from me rather than enjoying what I have been given,” Caspian says. This mindset of always thinking of what is gone or yet to come continues to depress and paralyze many in our culture.Yesterday is gone the future has not arrived yet. When you make the most of today, tomorrow will automatically be better.Lot’s of people say to me, “Have a great day!” That’s nice, but the truth is I am not a by-stander in this moment! It’s generally up to me to “Make it a great day!”And of course to that statement there will be lots of yeah, yeah that only works for some people... No it works for everyone who will practice each moment like it was the real thing... and it is!Here are some of ideas about how to “make today a great day!”

1. Set Clear Goals for today.
2. Define measureable steps towards achieving those goals.
3. No more procrastination
4. Watch out for distractions and time wasters
5. Keep a time log
6. Focus on Excellence
7. Always, Always Celebrate
