Memorial Day Musings

I realized a long time ago that memories can both serve and harm you. My heart and mind are flooded with memories about Dad, Grandparents, Loved ones and friends who are waiting for us!!! Whether they be good or bad, memories, either one can paralyze you. If I’m not careful I become too nostalgic and then my “Memories can keep me from imagining a future that is awesome.”Sometimes “memories” take such an exalted place that we nearly stop expecting anything better to happen to us. I have had to learn that memories are the foundations of an even greater future. That who we have know, and the experiences we have had serve as the cornerstones for what God is building in our lives. So Dad, and all the others…. thank you for an absolutely wonderful foundation! I’m so excited about the future because you have been in my past and remain a part of my present and will serve on in my future.“My memories of you have enlarged my imagination of tomorrow”Love Q
