HIS WORD .... IS LIFE!
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” -- John 1:1It is God’s nature to speak, to communicate His thoughts to us. So many times we think in terms of God having spoke, but He “is speaking.” He is continuoulsy articulating and filling the world with His Voice, with His light, life and love.His Word, His very breath is filling the world with living potential. His Voice is the most powerful force in nature, indeed the “only” force in nature, for all energy is here only because the power-filled Word “being spoken.”“The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” -- John 6:63In the beginning He spoke to nothing and it become something. “And God said ... and it was so.” God is here and He is still speaking into our lives and giving us His Life! I want to encourage you, His Word is still giving life.We have become too "passive" in our attitude towards not only God's initial word but also His ongoing Voice that is still speaking! We have become too "passive" or inattentive to the words that we speak over our own lives."That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world." -- John 1:9 Just as God spoke and light came into the universe .... God speaks and sends light into the soul of every man and woman. The Word sounds and light appears into every heart and there is no escape. His Word "is thundering" and many mistake it for mere thunder.As a believing man I do not claim to understand. I simply fall to my knees and worship! The unbelieving man examines and tries to find out how and why? One is a worshiper the other a scientist!God is "still speaking." His Word is still sending out light, life and love! May each man bow and worship and encounter that Word!"Is. 55:11... so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. "The Word will "achieve" it's intended purpose! And God has chosen man to speak His Word.... We have the privilege and the great honor to speak His Words. We have been blessed to be empower to "hear" His voice and to communicate His Word....Let us break the "passivity" and become "passionate" about His Word....
