Are you a "springer or slinger"?

2Kings 3:25 Then they destroyed the cities, and each man threw a stone on every good piece of land and filled it; and they stopped up all the springs of water and cut down all the good trees. But they left the stones of Kir Haraseth intact. However the slingers surrounded and attacked it.What an interesting verse!!!SLINGERS.... this is the work of a fault-finding, judgmental, critical spirit. This is the work of the accuser of the brethern. This spirit fills your fields with stones and stops up your wells.We have all been the victim of such a spirit in our lives. It works to contaminate our faith and our spirits. Remember what Jesus said to us: "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38)That "slinging mud" spirit tries to stop up the very flow of God's living water from coming up in our lives. In other words we are either "Springers" or "Slingers"!!!! SPRING UP O WELL AND FILL MY SOUL!DO NOT ALLOW THIS SPIRIT TO CONTAMINATE YOUR SPIRIT, YOUR FAITH OR THOSE AROUND YOU!
