A living love appliance!!!!

We were designed by Love, engineered by and built by Love! Who and what we are is a living love appliance. I'm not sure I like the word appliance, but love machine sounds even worse. Made by One who is Love to be Loved, that is the human race.I wish I could contain that in some sort of religious box but I can't, not really. It truly is the core Identity of every human being. I do believe that we are all on a journey of returning to our true identity, desiring to find our real selves.My grandchildern have desires most of which some adult is able to satisfy. However there are desires for which there seems to be no answer. C. S. Lewis said, "If I find myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world." (Mere Christianity)Reading and reflecting this morning I realize we were created to be the receptors and the dispensers of love. Only in living this way do we really find fulfillment. Satisfaction in being!
