Living in "the Way"!!!

 The bluff behind our cabin is steep and very dense. There are a several trails that lead through the woods and wind downward towards the lake. It doesn't take long and you lose complete sight of the cabin and you are filled with a sense of nature that is overwhelming. Huge stones emerge up through the foliage adding to the sense that the artist's had enjoyed His work immensely. I veered onto a path that I had not notice before, it was different and exciting. Scenery was new and mesmerizing!The cliff was there before I realized, slick, slippery, oops my footing was not as sure as thought. I was not prepared for this. This was not the way to the lake, at least not if I wanted to enjoy it.Prov. 14:12 ¶ There’s a way of life that looks harmless enough; look again—it leads straight to hell.As I sat there I realized that this path had looked harmless, even inviting. But my position revealed the obvious. This story could have ended poorly. The throbbing in my backside spoke to me as I crawled away from the edge. In fact I'm still sitting on this object lesson.Jesus said, "I am the way...." Stay on course!
